Bio
Dr. Tom Carey is a Professor of Management Sciences in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Waterloo, currently on leave to lead collaborative projects to enhance teaching and learning across higher education. In Canada, Tom is Visiting Senior Scholar at the Higher Education Quality Council of Ontario, and in the U.S., Tom is a Visiting Professor at San Diego State University and Visiting Senior Scholar in the Chancellor’s Office of the California State University.

Jennifer Meta Robinson is senior lecturer in the Indiana University Department of Communication and Culture and director of C122 Interpersonal Communication. She is author of The Farmers’ Market Book: Growing Food, Cultivating Community with Jeff Hartenfeld and co-editor of a forthcoming book about teaching environmental literacy. She is also president-elect of the International Society for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning.

John Rakestraw is Director of Faculty Programs at the Center for New Designs in Learning and Scholarship at Georgetown University and a Professorial Lecturer in Georgetown's Theology Department. Before coming to Georgetown he worked as Associate Professor of Religion and Philosophy at Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, and Assistant Director for Technology at Vanderbilt University's Center for Teaching.
