Brian Kennedy is Director of the Hood Museum of Art and Adjunct Professor of Art History at Dartmouth College, Hanover, New Hampshire. He was Director of the National Gallery of Australia (1997-2004) and Assistant Director of the National Gallery of Ireland (1989-1997).
