Paula Vincini is the Instructional Design Specialist for Academic Technology in the University Information Technology (UIT)Department at Tufts University. She received her Ed.S. from the Instructional Systems Technology program at Indiana University.
Diane J. Goldsmith
Diane Goldsmith, Dean of Planning, Research and Assessment at the Ct Distance Learning Consortium has a Ph.D. in Evaluation and Measurement and over 18 years experience in higher education in a variety of roles including teaching, student affairs, planning, research, and distance education. She has led the research and assessment effort of the Consortium since its inception and has published and presented nationally on the findings of this research. As part of this work, she directed a FIPSE funded project involving 11 institutional partners (two and four year, public and private institutions) which created a unique collaborative tutoring project (www.etutoring.org), a shared ePortfolio platform (www.ePortfolio.org), and a technology-assessment tool and remediation units. In 2005, she was awarded a three-year Davis Educational Foundation grant to continue to the work of helping institutions incorporate ePortfolios into their student service, academic, planning, and assessment efforts.
