I am currently an Assistant Professor at Bronx Community College of the City University of New York, in charge of the Gerald S. Lieblich Learning Resources Center, the media unit of the Library Department. I was also the President-Elect of the Library Association of the City University of New York, (LACUNY) for 2005-2006, and currently of member of its Executive Council. I am also a prt-time Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Queens College Graduate School of Library Science and Information Studies. Her research interests include experimental film and video, new media arts, and academic labor studies and she has published in frAme: Journal of Culture and Technology, Kairos: A Journal for Teachers of Writing in Webbed Environments, and Academe. Currently, she is conducting research for an experimental documentary about the cultural identity of Shreveport, Louisiana.
