Stanford University’s Wallenberg Hall is pleased to announce its 2009 Summer Institute, a unique forum in which industry leaders, researchers, educators, and practitioners explore critical issues at the crossroads of learning, collaboration and technology. These interactive, hands-on sessions provide participants the opportunity to connect and collaborate in Wallenberg Hall, a state-of-the-art facility with technology-enhanced classrooms and learning spaces designed to foster and support active learning, small group work, and capture and interaction with digital artifacts.
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The 2009 Wallenberg Summer Institute will offer one, two, and three day workshops over four weeks from July 22nd to August 15th; participants register for each session independently. Attendance is capped in each workshop, guaranteeing a personal learning experience for all. Institute topics include:
- RULE(S) OF THUMB(S): Producing Professional Media – August 3-4, 2009
- DESIGNING LEARNING SPACES – August 6-7, 2009
- USING ePORTFOLIOS FOR TEACHING, LEARNING AND ASSESSMENT - August 10-12, 2009
COST varies for each session. Please see the individual workshop descriptions for details. Early bird and team discounts are available for most sessions.
