LITA is a division of the American Library Association, and draws members from across the spectrum of libraries represented by the ALA (public, special, academic, etc.). The LITA blog launched shortly before the 2005 ALA Annual conference, and has already yielded a number of detailed posts covering conference programs and meetings.
