encouragement and exploration of the

humanities
in all its forms, ADHO's activities encompass the publication of
peer reviewed journals:

- Blackwell's Companion to Digital Humanities (also available online)
- the
Kings
College Office for Humanities Communication monograph
series
- the University of Illinois Press's Topics in the Digital Humanities series
the online discussion group:
- Humanist, (which, published since 1987, may well be the oldest email discussion group in existence today).
The next Digital Humanities conferences are scheduled for the University of Oulu, Finland (2008) and the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland (2009).
John Unsworth, Dean of the Graduate School of Library and Information Science at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, is chair of the steering committee of AHDO.
