Registration is now open for NERCOMP's upcoming workshop:
"Assessment into Action"
DATE: May 5, 2009
TIME: 9:00 - 3:00 (Coffee and Registration start at 8:00)
PRICE: NERCOMP Members: $111, Non-Members: $236
Your fee includes continental breakfast and lunch.
LOCATION: University of Massachusetts - Amherst Campus Center - First Floor, Amherst, MA.
DESCRIPTION: Many organizations seek to assess the effectiveness of their services and the extent of their impact on student learning, but fewer have the capacity to make these assessment efforts as worthwhile as they could be. If you’ve been charged with leading an assessment effort at your institution, join your colleagues for two days of collaborative learning that will help you build knowledge and skills with assessment!
Participants will take a close look at the nuts and bolts of assessment methodology. Experts in quantitative and qualitative assessment will lead collaborative learning activities that explore how to frame a research question, select the right methodology for your project, collect data, and analyze the data you’ve gathered.
Note: This event was first offered as a two day event. The first day was in March, but for those that are interested, you may still benefit from day two activities. Registrants from March 24th need not register for this session!
