DESCRIPTION: Mashups, created by linking Web 2.0 applications together, harness the collective intelligence of the internet to create dynamic displays of engaging information that can be created for a wide variety of disciplines and easily integrated into curriculums. This SIG will provide a snap shot how Mashups have evolved in the past year, demonstrate tools that are emerging that simplify the creation of Mashups such as Yahoo Pipes, Microsoft Popfly and Dapper, show examples of educational Mashups and demonstrate how they were built. The meeting will close with a roundtable session for sharing Mashup ideas.
